Day 1 Casablanca-Marrakech
Upon your arrival, the driver will welcome you at the Airport. Driving towards the old city of Casablanca. You will see the biggest mosque of morocco,Hassan II and stroll around Mohamed V square that is filled with pigeons. Tour length in Casablanca varies according to different flight schedules. After lunch, While you are heading to Marrakech, you’ll be provided with a brief review of the whole journey. Dinner and Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2 Marrakech
After breakfast, you will start exploring Marrakech with a local guide. A whole day of in depth city tour begins with Koutoubia Mosque which is known as the landmark of Marrakech. Within 5 minutes walking distance, you will enter the souks where you can purchase almost any kinds of moroccan crafts, lamps and pottery. In the afternoon, you will visit Bahia Palace and Saadian Tombs.
Inside the majestic Saadian tombs, sultan Ahmad al-Mansur was buried here. The tombs were discovered in 1917 and were restored by the Beaux-arts service. At night , you will roam around the hectic Jemaa el-fnaa loaded with exotic street performances, intriguing fortune teller, most bizarre native street food including boiled snails. After dinner, you will end this full day of adventures and return to your hotel.
Day 3 Marrakech-Ouarzazate-Dades Gorge-Merzouga
Today is the day to gain some mighty Sahara spirit! You will departure Marrakech after breakfast, driving pass winding High Atlas mountain roads, where you can see fascinating snowcaps. One famous attraction you have to visit on the way is Ait Ben Hadu. This old kasbah ruins has been favored by numerous hollywood movie productions including Gladiator and Game of thrones.
You will enjoy your lunch near the kasbahs in Ouarzazate City. When we approach Dades Gorges, you can hike between the intimidating rock lines and truly get close to the nature. In the afternoon, your camels will be waiting for you at the edge of Merzouga desert. Into the sands, the absolute serenity wipes out all problems one has, and only emphasizes the breathtaking sunset of Sahara.
After approximately one and half hours camel ride, you will reach the luxury camps beneath the high dunes. You will taste dinner prepared by local desert residents with a cup of hot welcome tea. At night, there will be appealing berber musical performances around the fireplace underneath the shining stars. It is indeed a once in lifetime experience, an indelible memory!
Day 4 Merzouga-Erfoud-Midelt-Ifrane-Fes
Breakfast will be served in the restaurant camp. Afterwards you will head up to Fes. You will first reach Erfoud, famous for its date festivals and fossils. After glancing over a number of traditional individual houses and Ksars, you will enter the enchanting Ziz Valley that has vast stretches of palm trees and oasis. The journey proceeds to a jungle of cedar trees around Midelt City and finally to the magical white Ifrane that almost completely resembles northern european cities. Last stop of today is Fez. Here you will have dinner and spend the night at you hotel.
Day 5 Fes
Enjoy your breakfast while overlooking entire Fez at your hotel’s rooftop restaurant. For today, you will stroll among the crooked alleyways , to explore all maze-like ramparts and souks with an experienced local guide who speaks fluent English. Because of its rich history and copious cultures, the old medina of Fez was declared as UNESCO world heritage site. Proceeding to discover hidden secrets of Fez , you’ll climb the ruins of Merinid tombs, visit the ancient Merinid style schools which were built in the early 14th century named Bouanania and the Attarine Madrasa.
These cultural feasts deserve their own aftertaste during a lunch break at a traditional restaurant in the Medina. In the afternoon, you will sightseeing one of Morocco’s most famed gateways called Bab Boujloud and the Royal Palace. As twilight is gradually falling over the old Medina, you can wander around the busy markets in the narrow streets to purchase some fine souvenirs like pottery, leather goods, and local merchants’ hand made jewellery. At the end, you will return to the home like Riad/Hotel for recreation.
Day 6 Fes- Chefchaouen
Departure from Fes after breakfast to the blue legend of Morocco called Chefchaouen. All the blue and white washed houses spread tightly across the back of Rif mountains. From far away, the city melts with the blue sky creates a pleasant harmony.
You will wander among the friendly Medina with a local guide, will also visit the Museum and art gallery to learn the intriguing cultures and histories of Chefchaouen. After lunch, walking to the hills nearby the city where you can find some magnificent waterfalls is a great option. At night, you will return to hotel for the night and you can overlook this charming night Chefchaouen from your hotel’s rooftop.
Day 7 Chefchaouen – Rabat
After one beautiful night in Chefchaouen, now you will head towards Rabat after breakfast. In this imperial city of Rabat, you’ll enjoy a half day city tour with experienced local guide. During the tour, you will see ramparts and walls surrounding the royal palace of Rabat, the soulem and ancient Oudaya Kasbah, and marvelous Mohamed V mausoleum and an incomplete art, Hassan Tower. Lastly, you will check into a hotel for the night.
Day 8 Rabat – Casablanca Airport
Transfer Casablanca Mohammed V international airport for your return flight directly from Rabat. Hope you enjoy your time with us in Morocco !
